    Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Mentora collects and how we use it to provide guided DSA learning, account access, billing, and support.

    Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, profile image, authentication provider details, and session information.

We collect learning activity such as generated roadmap sessions, selected problems, completion progress, hint usage, scratchpad submissions for feedback, and related timestamps.

If you subscribe, payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We store subscription status and payment event metadata, but we do not store full card details.

    Payment information

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Their checkout may collect payment method details needed to complete the transaction.

Mentora does not store, copy, or retain card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, netbanking credentials, or other payment instrument credentials.

    How we use information

We use your information to authenticate your account, generate and save learning roadmaps, track your progress, provide billing access, prevent abuse, and improve Mentora.

Scratchpad content may be sent to an AI provider to generate feedback. Do not submit sensitive personal information, passwords, credentials, or private code.

    Sharing and service providers

We may share limited information with service providers needed to run Mentora, including authentication, database hosting, AI generation, payment processing, analytics, and support tools.

We do not sell your personal information.

    Data retention

We keep account, billing, and learning records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.

You may contact us to request account or data deletion, subject to legal, billing, fraud-prevention, and backup retention requirements.

    Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user information.

No online service is perfectly secure, so you should use a strong login method and avoid entering sensitive secrets into scratchpads or prompts.
